Within the framework of the program organized by our Central Asian Research Center and Mongolian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on February  28th, 2024,  Gombojav Zandanshatar,  the Speaker of State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, presented a wide-ranging seminar titled “Trans-Altai Historic Pathways” for the students of our University.

Gombojav Zandanshatar told that Kyrgyz and Mongolian people have common historical roots, using the example of Mongolian tribes mentioned in the “Manas” epic and some common words in Kyrgyz and Mongolian languages.

The Kyrgyz and Mongolian people are tied not only by socio-economic cooperation, but also by historical and cultural ties that go back centuries of nomadic life. Therefore, our two nations have one goal - to develop close ties, in particular, scientific, cultural and educational relations.

At the end of his speech, Zandanshatar invited teachers and students to the forum “Trans-Altaic Dialogue on Sustainable Development” that will be held in Mongolia this year.
