Azerbaijan exported 3 billion 953 million 658.45 thousand cubic meters of natural gas worth 1 billion 459 million 774.04 thousand US dollars in January-February this year.
This is 3.3 times more than the indicator of the same period of 2023 in quantitative terms and 2.9% more in value terms, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.
In the first two months of this year, the share of natural gas in Azerbaijan's total exports amounted to 30.54%. In January-February of the current year, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries to the amount of 7 billion 227 million US dollars. Of this amount, exports accounted for $4 billion 780 million and imports for $2 billion 447 million.
