Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have agreed to reduce tariffs for cargo transportation by rail according to the reports of zakon.kz.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan noted that the issue of tariffs on the territory of Afghanistan is being resolved.
“The respective departments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have signed an agreement on providing a 50% discount on rail transport, such issues are being fully worked out at the bilateral level, "Niyazkhodjayev said during an international video conference: "Prospects for the development of trade and economic relations of the EEU countries after the current sanitary and epidemiological situation". He explained that the parties are already working on reducing tariffs for railway transport in Afghanistan.
The Ambassador also noted that it is necessary to consider the creation of a trilateral joint Russian-Kazakh-Uzbek enterprise now for processing fruit and vegetable products.
