In Kyrgyzstan, 1189 enterprises completely belonged to foreigners. According to report of the National Statistics Committee,  most of the companies were opened by representatives from China, Turkey and Russia.

According to the report, in 2017, 3710 enterprises with foreign investments were operating in Kyrgyzstan. Including 57.3 percent of them - with full participation of foreign capital. Compared with 2013, the number of enterprises with foreign investments increased by 12.3 percent.

The main partners (59 percent) were non-CIS countries (1,833 companies). At the same time, the majority of enterprises in 2017 accounted for joint ventures with Russia (22.1 percent), China (18.5 percent), Kazakhstan (14 percent) and Turkey (13.5 percent).

1189 enterprises (64.9 percent) fully belonged to non-CIS countries. Among them, 397 enterprises were invested by China, 307 by Turkey, 291 by Russia, 204 by Kazakhstan, 99 by Korea and 38 by Iran.

According to report, the largest number of enterprises with foreign investments were concentrated in the sphere of wholesale and retail trade. They were car and motorcycle repair (34.2 percent), manufacturing (15 percent), professional, scientific and technical activities (13 percent), construction (8.2 percent ), as well as in organizations of information and communication (4.1 percent). Also the largest number of enterprises(83 percent) worked in Bishkek.
