The French Development Agency has allocated a loan of 150 million euros to support reforms in Uzbekistan.

The French Development Agency (PAR) provided a loan of 150 million euros to Uzbekistan for the implementation of the Economic Management Improvement Program. The press service of the Ministry of Finance reported that the loan agreement was signed on December 12 at the Ministry of Finance.

The project was developed with the assistance of the Asian Development Bank. Its implementation will provide additional sources of budget funding for government programs to create jobs and the development of social infrastructure in the regions of Uzbekistan.

The loan is granted for a period of 20 years, including a 6-year grace period.

PAR is a state financial institution the purpose of which is the implementation of development policies determined by the France government.
