In the first six months of this year, China has reached first place in trading partners of Uzbekistan, displacing Russia. According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, in the first half of the year, the trade between Uzbekistan and China amounted to $ 3.895 billion.

Approximately $ 1.6 billion is a share of exports, and $ 2 billion is imports. Among the trade partners of Uzbekistan, Russia ranks second ($ 2 billion 984 million), followed by Kazakhstan (1.7 billion), Turkey (1.2 billion), Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. In the first half of 2019, Uzbekistan maintained trade relations with 166 countries. The total foreign trade turnover of the country amounted to $ 20 billion, which is 4 billion more than in the same period of 2018.
