Uzbekistan has allocated 1,000 tons of flour and medical supplies as humanitarian aid to the city of Osh, in southern part of Kyrgyzstan, Turmush reported.

According to information, a total of 17 wagons of humanitarian aid arrived from Uzbekistan, 16 of them containing flour and one containing medical supplies. This includes 7 thousand sets of workwear, 220 respirators, 20 of them N95 type, 20 thousand gloves, 500 special glasses, 200 pyrometers and 2 thousand test systems for diagnosing the presence of coronavirus.
Deputy Minister of emergency situations Ravshan Ryspaev, Osh region’s Plenipotentiary Uzarbek Zhylkybayev and representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs took part in the acceptance of aid.
Equipment and a base of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Kyrgyz Republic have been prepared for receiving and delivering humanitarian cargo by order of the Minister of emergency situations Zamirbek Askarov.
