The Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports that the Bukhara oil refinery has started producing Euro-5 diesel fuel. For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, the production of environmentally friendly and high-quality diesel fuel of the Euro-4 and Euro-5 classes has been launched. This was reported in the press service of the company "Uzbekneftegaz".
The report also includes, "For the first time in the history of the country, the production of environmentally friendly and high-quality Euro-4 and Euro-5 diesel fuel has been launched at the Bukhara oil refinery. Diesel fuel of these types can improve engine performance, reduce the degree of corrosion, reduce gas emissions and extend the service length of the cylinders.”
The initial production capacity will be 100 thousand tons per year. The production has been launched after replacing replacement the catalyst for the gas oil hydro-treatment unit. Installation and commissioning works were carried out in cooperation with the French company Axens.
