On behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, another humanitarian aid has been sent to Dushanbe. The 24-ton cargo was sent with medicines, mainly antibiotics.

"The humanitarian cargo was received and transferred to the capital's Department of Health and Social Protection," Asia-Plus news Agency reported referring to the administration of Dushanbe.
According to reference, mayor Rustam Emomali instructed to strictly control the use of medicines received for their intended use and free of charge for the treatment of those infected with coronavirus.
On April 9, Uzbekistan sent 18 railway wagons with medicine and food to Tajikistan. At that time, there were no official cases of coronavirus in Tajikistan.
