The Uzbek authorities plan to introduce a new type of immigration visa within the framework of the “Uzbekistan — My Second Home” program.
It is expected that it will attract foreigners with high income and high academic knowledge. It is also assumed that besides these individuals, their family members will move to Uzbekistan.
Thus, the guests will contribute to the field of architecture, education, construction, design, and information technology for the development of Uzbekistan.
This program is planned to be implemented within the framework of the presidential decree adopted on June 19, "on additional measures for the development of tourism in strict compliance with the requirements of the sanitary regime and epidemiological security."
The new visa is expected to be introduced from January 1, 2021. The Head of the Republic ShavkatMirziyoyev assigned to develop the project in the next two months.
