Uzbekistan has started mass production of test systems for detecting COVID-19 coronavirus, according to the report of Ministry of Innovative Development.
"Mass production of the set of reagents ‘Biotest - SARS-CoV-2’ were developed by scientists of the center for advanced technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development. The system is designed for the high- quality determination of the RNA of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that causes acute respiratory syndrome COVID-19, " the report includes. The manufacturer of this test system is LLC "Biotest-LAB" - a company at the center of advanced technologies.
"If the need for tests in the Republic is 20 thousand per day, Biotest-LAB will almost cover the needs of the Republic with a production capacity of 500 thousand test systems per month," the Ministry added.
