A giant export train loaded with export products from Turkey to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistanreportedly has delivered its cargo to the Caspian Sea in 9 days as planned.

Based on data from Anadolu Agency`s (AA) Aa.com.tr news site, the giant export train which departed from Turkey's Kars provinceon April 18, 2020. It reached Baku International Sea Trade Port in the Alat townon April 27, 2020, which is70 kilometers awayfrom Azerbaijan’s capital Baku; It was announced that 82 containers on the 940-meter train were openedfor the distributiontothe Caspian Sea ships.
According to the information, while 20 of the containers remained in Azerbaijan, 24 of them were loaded onaKazakhstan`s dry cargo ship named Türkistanand moved to Aktau port, 30 of the containers will be send to Türkmenbaşı Port of Turkmenistan as well as 8 containers to Kuryk Port of Kazakhstan.
The export train, which uses the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway (BTK) line, has transported its cargo to the Caspian Sea in 9 days, as stated by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu in his statements dated 18 April 2020.
The 940-meter giant export train consisting of 82 containers containing many materials ranging from cleaning materials to automotive industry products set off from Kars on April 18, 2020; all operations within the process of loading and transporting were carried out following human contactless and intensive disinfection rules.
