TRADE TURNOVER AMONG TURKİC COUNTRİES GROWS BY 27%

In 2023, the value of trade turnover among the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) increased by 27.3% compared to 2022 and reached $42 billion, the Minister of Trade of Türkiye, Omer Bolat, said, Report informs, citing Anadolu.

According to him, this number is a small part of the total trade turnover of the member countries. "The more we unite our forces, the more we increase our solidarity. Our unity is our strength. As OTS, we have great opportunities to further develop our trade and economic cooperation due to our 170 million young population, gross national income of $1.5 trillion, rich natural resources, and location on the most important trade route of the world, which we call the Middle Corridor," the minister noted.
