The delegation headed by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, attended the signing ceremony of the agreements made between Turkmenistani , Japanese and Turkish companies as part of the official visit to Japan on 23.10.19.

According to the Ca-news.org news site, a urea and ammonia production facility will be established in Turkmenistan within the framework of the agreement between Turkmenistan’s state Turkmenhimiya Group of Companies, Japanese automotive company Mitsubishi and Turkish “Gap Inşaat Ýatirim ve Diş Ticaret Anonim Şirketi”. According to the agreement between Turkmengaz state company of Turkmenistan and Japan's Kawasaki Limited Company and Sojitz Company, the second plant of the factory established to produce liquid fuel from natural gas will be established.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached to establish a concentrated phosphorus fertilizer production facility at Turkmenabat Chemical Plant between the Turkmenhimiya Group of Companies, the state-owned company of Turkmenistan, Sojitz Corporation of Japan, Turkey’s TTCL Public Company Limited, “Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanaýi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi”.

Turkmenistan Agriculture and Water Resources Committee and Japan-based Itochu Company signed an agreement on the purchase of excavation equipment.

The Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan and Japan's Sumitomo Company reached an agreement on the purchase of vehicles. A cooperation agreement was also signed between Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Japan Ministry of Economy and Industry.
