Turkmenistan's Ministry of Finance and Economy announced that the volume of trade carried out by Turkmenistan with neighboring countries increased in 3-year period of 2017-2019.

Trtavaz.com.tr reports on basis of data published in the Journal of Finance and economy 2019 by the Ministry of Finance and economy of Turkmenistan. According to published data, Turkmenistan increased its trade volume with the countries of the United Nations Special Programme for Central Asian economies (SPECA) in the 3-year period from 2017 till 2019.

According to the information that is shared with the public,  The total volume of trade with SPECA countries, consisting of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan, increased from USD 982 million in 2017 to USD 1 billion 113 million in 2018, rised by 13%.  this rate is reported to exceed $ 1 billion.

The United Nations Special Programme on Central Asian economies (SPECA) aims to strengthen regional cooperation in Central Asia and the process of adaptation of the economies of the countries of the region to the world economy.
