A batch of the Russian medication Triazavirin, which is being tested in China for the treatment of coronavirus, has been delivered to Turkmenistan. This is reported by TASS, referring to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company "Medsintez" Alexander Petrov, which produces the preparation.

Previously, the preparation was sent to China as humanitarian aid, where it is being tested for treatment of coronavirus.
Petrov: "We delivered [the preparation] to Turkmenistan. This is not a humanitarian aid, funds were allocated and they bought for themselves. The batch was large, about 2 thousand packages. Each package contains 20 capsules".
Triazavirin is a Russian antiviral medication of direct action of the family azoleazine. According to the developers, it is effective against 15 types of flu. Developed by scientists of the Ural Federal University, the Postovsky Institute of organic synthesis of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the influenza Research Institute of the Russian Ministry of health.
Recall that according to official data, no cases of coronavirus have been registered in Turkmenistan.
