British research center Legatum Institute has published a ranking of prosperous countries.

From the Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 73rd, Kyrgyzstan - 78, Tajikistan - 101. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were not included in the rating due to lack of data. Analysts noted that 10 countries were not included in the rating. In addition to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Syria, North Korea, Somalia, South Sudan, Cuba, Haiti, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea. In these countries, the government restricted the access of researchers to the necessary information.

The purpose of the study is to study the public welfare of the world’s states on a global scale. The Prosperity Index is a combined measure that determines the achievement of states in terms of well-being. The top five were taken by Norway, New Zealand, Finland, Switzerland and Denmark.
