According to the data published by the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the rate of foreign direct investment in the country in the first half of this year increased by 30 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
During the said period, 11.1 billion dollars worth of investments were made in Kazakhstan from foreign countries. During this period, Turkey invested 388.7 million dollars in Kazakhstan. Thus, compared to last year, Turkey's investment in Kazakhstan increased by 79.9 percent.
Accordingly, after the USA and Switzerland, Turkey is the third country to increase its investments in Kazakhstan the most.
On the other hand, the Netherlands, USA, Switzerland, Russia, England, China, Belgium, Turkey, France and South Korea were among the countries that invested the most in Kazakhstan in the first quarter of this year.
