In 2021, the volume of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and other countries exceeded the figures of 2020 by 17.4% and amounted to 101.5 billion dollars. The main share of the turnover is occupied by trade in processed goods: in 2021, this figure amounted to 58.1 billion dollars, which is 12% higher than in 2020 (51.8 billion dollars), the Kapital business information center reported.kz in the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Integration.

According to the ministry, exports from Kazakhstan in 2021 increased by 26.9% and amounted to $ 60.3 billion. Imports increased by 5.8% and amounted to $ 41.2 billion.

The main export goods from Kazakhstan are: crude oil, copper and copper cathodes, ferroalloys, natural gas, uranium, iron ores and concentrates, copper ores and concentrates, wheat, hot-rolled flat rolled non-alloy steel, petroleum products.

The main import goods to Kazakhstan are: computers, car bodies, passenger cars and spare parts for cars and tractors, telephones, medicines packaged for retail sale, as well as vaccines, blood serums, blood.

The main trading partner countries of Kazakhstan in 2021 were:

- Russia - the total volume of bilateral trade amounted to $ 24.2 billion;

- China - trade turnover amounted to about $ 18.2 billion;

- Italy - the volume of mutual trade exceeded $ 9.6 billion.

The top ten main partner countries also included: Netherlands, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, South Korea, USA, Germany, India, Spain, Romania, Greece, Switzerland.
