As part of the implementation of the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan was delivered to Kyrgyzstan in the form of 1,000 tons of elite wheat seeds of Kazakh origin, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reports.

The humanitarian cargo transfer ceremony was held at the Bishkek-1 railway station with the participation of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybaev and the Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek Dzhanybekov.

The Minister expressed sincere gratitude to the Kazakh side for valuable support in providing elite wheat seeds, which is designed to improve the quality and yield of the country's farmers' products.

For his part, the Ambassador noted that the delivery of humanitarian cargo was organized by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the Head of State following the results of his negotiations with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.

The leadership of Kazakhstan has always been sympathetic to the requests of Kyrgyzstan, as much as possible assisted in solving pressing socio-economic problems and provided substantial humanitarian assistance.

It is worth noting that in May 2020, humanitarian assistance was provided in the form of supplies of Kazakh flour in the amount of 5 thousand tons. In May 2021, humanitarian aid in the form of 10 thousand tons of flour was sent.

It is noteworthy that the event takes place on the eve of the bright holiday of Nauryz, which is always a symbol of renewal, forward movement, progress and development for our peoples.

"It is not in vain that it is said that Kazakhs and Kyrgyz are fraternal peoples. I am sure that the cooperation between the two peoples will continue to strengthen," Ambassador Rapil Zhoshybaev stressed in this regard.
