According to the news of Dunyo news agency, the management of Aktau Port (Kazakhstan) is ready to accept applications from Uzbekistan companies for cargo transportation.
An agreement was reached during the meeting between Uzbekistan's Consul General in Aktau and Aktau Commercial Port Chairman Abay Turikpenbayev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the transportation of Uzbekistan products to near and far countries via Aktau port.
The port of Aktau (Kazakhstan) is located on the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea, at the intersection of several international transport corridors. It transports land goods, crude oil and petroleum products from east to west, north to south, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan 12 months and 24 hours a day.
