Turkey ranked second in terms of investment in Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy Minister of Investment Nuradil Bayasov said at a press conference that the amount of investment in the first half of the year exceeded 62 million dollars. He noted that China remains the country's main investor. At the same time, the inflow of investments from Turkey has increased. The related news was published on the official website of Economist. It should be reminded that the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, a business forum with the participation of more than 300 companies from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, took place last week.
Following the event, memorandums of cooperation were signed:
- Memorandum between the PPP Center of the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Investment and the Istanbul PPP Center
- Memorandum in the field of money transfers and payment services through physical and digital channels between countries
- Memorandum between the Banks Association of Kyrgyzstan and UPT Payment Services and Elektronik Para A.Ş.
- Memorandum between Istanbul Public-Private Partnership Center and Eurasia Business Club Businessmen's Association on accelerating the development and improvement of innovative and advanced achievements in the field of Public-Private Partnership.
