It is reported that the Minister of Economy and Trade Daniyar Amangeldiyev visited the port of Bandar Abbas (Iran) on November 14 to increase the transit potential of the transportation corridor of Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran and China by using the Shahid Rajai port. The related news appeared on the Economist.kg news site on October 16.
It was proposed that the route be used to transport goods not only to the PRC (People's Republic of China), but also to the countries of Southeast Asia and the Persian Gulf.
During the visit, the minister met with the governor of Hormozgan state, Mohandes Mehdi Dustin, and the port chief, Shahid Rajai. The Head of the Ministry of Economy expressed the problematic issues of domestic cargo ships carrying cargo to Iran.
At the same time, the parties decided to establish an inter-ministerial working group to deal with the allocation by Iran of a land with suitable infrastructure for the Kyrgyz Republic.
İt was noted by Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdolahiyan that Iran will provide Kyrgyzstan with a land and related infrastructure for the transit and delivery of goods in both directions at the Bandar Abbas port.
