A conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence and the development of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey was held at the Ankara Crisis and Policy Research Center (ANKASAM) on 17 December.
According to the news of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Turkey Kubanicbek Omuraliyev said that Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have taken great steps in developing political dialogue and cooperation in important fields in a short time.
According to Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, the task given by the heads of state to increase the trade turnover between the two countries to 1 billion dollars has been fulfilled. In January-October 2021, the trade turnover between the two countries reached $661.1 million. In total, it increased by $263.6 million compared to the same period of 2020.
