Turkey discussed the provision of benefits to WNG participants and the delivery of cargo-200 to the Kyrgyz Republic from the Republic of Tatarstan free of charge. This became known during the meeting of the Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul Lira Sydykova with representatives of Turkish Airlines - Director of the Commercial Sales Department Mahmut Yayla and his deputy for the Central Asian Market Tunjay Yeminogly.
According to the diplomatic mission, within the framework of this meeting, issues of economic cooperation were discussed, as well as the role of Turkish Airlines in building up trade and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
In particular, Lyra Sydykova noted that in 2021 the trade turnover between the Kyrgyz Republic and the TR reached $ 736.1 million, and in order to ensure further growth and expansion of trade and economic cooperation in all spheres of economic activity of the two countries, she proposed to increase the number of air cargo transportation.
At the same time, the parties discussed the issues of providing preferential tariffs for participants of the World Nomad Games in Iznik, and Consul General Lyra Sydykova proposed to consider the issue of delivering Cargo-200 to Kyrgyzstan at preferential tariffs or free of charge.
For reference: Turkey plans to hold the World Nomad Games in Iznik at the end of September 2022 with the participation of ethnosportsmen from 76 countries, including Kyrgyzstan. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to consider the issues raised and continue further mutually beneficial cooperation.
