Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Zhanarbek Akaev and Deputy Nurlanbek Azygaliev held a meeting with Turkish businessmen and Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Bursa Tutush Bilal on February 28. Issues of development of trade and economic cooperation between Bishkek and Ankara were discussed, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reports.

During the conversation, it was noted that Turkish entrepreneurs are interested in implementing projects in the textile industry of Kyrgyzstan. It is reported that the Turkish side is considering entering foreign markets through the markets "Dordoi", "Madina", "Kara-Suu" in Kyrgyzstan.

Nurlanbek Azygaliev said that he had previously chaired the Kyrgyz-Turkish forum of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. According to him, trade relations between the two countries have good prospects, since Turkish entrepreneurs have the opportunity to enter the market with a population of 180 million people. In this regard, he noted the importance of not only exports and imports, but also investment in production.
