Dekna Bishkek Textile Company is building a large textile factory in Kara-Balta. $10 million dollars has been already spent on the construction of the object, and by 2025 it is planned to spend $ 22 million dollars. The total cost of the project is estimated at $27 million.

According to press service of the parliament, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Azygaliev on March 2, met with a representative of the company Yilmaz Alduz. The representative of the company noted that many foreign entrepreneurs, observing the process of building a new factory, are interested in investing. "In addition, we intend to produce raw materials in Kyrgyzstan and start growing cotton," he added.

It is noted that the textile factory, the construction of which began last year, is located on an area of 93,000 square meters. Initially, the company will employ about 400 people and produce about 20 tons of yarn and fabric per day. By 2027, after completion of construction, the plant will employ about 1,200 people; the production volume will be increased to 100 tons of products per day. It is also assumed that the majority of employees will be women. In addition, about 85% of the manufactured goods are planned to be exported to neighboring countries and European countries.

The deputy stressed that the opening of such enterprises will contribute to reducing unemployment in the country and the development of the regions. "Therefore, we need to provide comprehensive assistance and support the work of the factory," he said.
