Kyrgyzstan and Qatar discussed the issue of opening a trade hub on the territory of the free economic zones of Qatar in order to further export domestic products to the Persian Gulf countries. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The issue was discussed at a meeting of domestic entrepreneurs with the executive director of the Qatar Free Economic Zone (QFA) Lemming Hu within the framework of the AgriteQ exhibition in Doha.

"The office premises were inspected, as well as a brief overview of enterprises operating in the territory of the QFA, among them: DHL, Google, Microsoft," the report says.

Representatives of the Investment Agency provided information on investment and export opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, domestic companies discussed the possibility of supplying bottled water, dried fruits, meat and fish products to the Alfardan hotel chain.

At the same time, the Qatari network Al Meera expressed interest in importing honey, dried fruits, nuts and bottled water.
