Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca as part of a working trip to Turkey.
According to the press service of the ministry, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Turkish state joint stock company "Uskhash" (authorized body, including on medicines and medical products) and representatives of the Department of Medicines and Medical Products of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the issue of the supply of medicines and medical products for Kyrgyzstan was discussed, as well as an increase in quotas for the treatment of seriously ill Kyrgyzstanis in Turkey.
As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached that the Republic of Turkey would distribute medicines and medical products for the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic will also take measures to organize a simplified procedure for the import of medicines and medical products. This will make it possible to replenish the market of medicines and medical products, which is experiencing difficulties, in light of the situation in Ukraine.
Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for the active cooperation and support.
