The first plant for the production of elevator equipment has been opened in Kyrgyzstan. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, the press service of the authority reports.
The head of the Cabinet noted that he was glad to learn that there are new industrial enterprises in the country, including the production of elevators.
"Yesterday, the Beles bus manufacturing plant was just opened, and today we are at the opening of the first elevator manufacturing enterprise in the republic. This is good news, because the opening of any production has a multiplicative effect. These are new jobs, contributions to the republican budget, and the development of the region as a whole. We need to develop the industrial sector and support domestic production, whose products are almost as good as their foreign counterparts," Akylbek Zhaparov said.
The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that currently all conditions have been created to support local producers.
In turn, the founder of the company, Rakhat Zhunushbaeva, stressed that the company sets ambitious plans, including for entering the markets of Central Asia and the EAEU.
She noted that the production capacity of the enterprise is 500 units of equipment and it has all the possibilities to replace Bishkek elevators with more high-tech ones in the format of public-private partnership.
