A number of bilateral documents aimed at enhancing Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation was signed during the official visit of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Azerbaijan. The presidential press service reports.
Sadyr Japarov and Ilham Aliyev signed a Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The leaders also signed a memorandum on the establishment of the Interstate Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In addition, the following documents were signed:
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on air communication.
- Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of agriculture.
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Memorandum between the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan on development of cooperation in the field of communication and information and communication technologies.
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of intellectual property protection.
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Agreement on cooperation between the Corporation for Public Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting".
The Kyrgyz Republic expresses its sincere gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the joint implementation of projects for the construction of the Friendship Park of Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan and the secondary school named after Heydar Aliyev for 550 students in the city of Bishkek, which will serve to strengthen friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries.
Sadyr Japarov expressed his deep gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for his hospitality, warm welcome and invited the President of Azerbaijan on a return state visit. The invitation was gratefully accepted.
