The Ministry of Economy hosted a meeting of entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, where projects to open production of basalt fiber, yarn and medicines were discussed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
The delegation of Uzbekistan was represented by heads of departments and companies, such as the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Uzbekhydroenergo JSC, Uzeltehsanoat Association, Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari Association, Uztextilprom Association, Art Soft Holding Textile Holding.
The Kyrgyz side was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund Aziz Aaliev, Vice-President of JSC "Kyrgyzindustria" Zhyrgalbek Sagynbaev, President of the Association "Legprom" Saparbek Asanov, heads of LLC "Tuleke" and municipal enterprise "Bishkekgorlift".
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues on the possible organization of the production of continuous basalt fiber in the Kyrgyz Republic, textile buckles in the Jalal-Abad region, the establishment of cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, hydropower and other promising areas of cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, further joint actions were determined to intensify cooperation in all areas of considered cooperation, the Ministry of Economy reported.
