According to the Kyrgyz government press service, Kyrgyzstan Deputy Prime Minister Arzibek Kocoshev and Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister Bakit Sultanov attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh joint industrial and logistics complex on May 26.

The ceremony took place at the Ak-Tilek and Kara-Suu checkpoints. During the meeting between President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Caparov and President of Kazakhstan Kassym Cömert Tokayev, a video from the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of this complex was shown.

It was stated that in this industrial, trade and logistics complex, it is planned to implement projects for the production of canned beans, meat processing, pre-sale preparation of meat and the production of food additives. Production of frozen mare's milk, clothing and dairy products is also planned.

It is also reported that the President of Kazakhstan Kasım Cömert Tokayev paid an official visit to Bishkek and met with his counterpart, Sadir Caparov.
