The Emirati company Masdar is interested in implementing a project to build a solar plant with a capacity of 200 MW in the Kyrgyz Republic. This was announced by the press service of the Investment Agency following the results of the Kyrgyzstan - United Arab Emirates business forum.
As noted, B2B meetings of domestic exporters and entrepreneurs with representatives of more than 20 UAE companies took place on the site of the forum held on the eve of June 1.
The agency's director Ravshan Sabirov called on Emirati companies to invest in the Kyrgyz Republic, especially in energy, industry, agriculture, tourism and healthcare, as well as interregional cooperation.
"We welcome such initiatives and hope that there will be many such initiatives in the future," Sabirov said, commenting on Masdar's interest.
