Two development funds established in Kyrgyzstan with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have agreed on cooperation and exchange of experience.

The press service of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund (UKDF) reported that a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the board of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund (AKDF) was held on April 16.

Eldar Hamidov, deputy chairman of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, Namig Zeynalov, advisor to the chairman of the EDF, as well as Iqbal Babayev, co-chairman of the AKDF, and Tilek Batyrkanov, member of the AKDF, participated in the meeting. The participants discussed the activities of UKDF, including its strategic priorities, funding models and project implementation mechanisms. The representatives of the two funds agreed on further cooperation, with possible prospects for mutually beneficial partnership and exchange of experience.
