The correspondent of Podrobno.uz reports that Jizzakh automobile plant starts supplying the medical institutions in Tashkent withambulance vehicles based on Volkswagen Caddy.

Uzavtosanoat reports: "The vehicles are designed to serve the population in pandemicperiod, when the entire country is on alert. The ambulance vehicleswill go to the ‘front line’ from next week in order toprovide population with the timely assistance.”

The local company,Turin Invest Engineering that consists of graduates of the Polytechnic University of Turin,are working on equipping the vehicles. The company specializes in the implementation of engineering ideas-from designing to commissioning. The company possesses laboratories for Mechatronics, Metrology and unique high-tech equipment in the country.

In addition, the Samarkand automobile plant has recently sent a batch of 27 ambulances based on the Isuzu d-Max pickup truck to Tashkent.

The new model of the ambulance car is being produced at the Samarkand plant since May 2020. The car possesses the qualities, such as a high permeability, maneuverability, reliability and efficiency.

In addition, the vehicles can be completed upon request and appointment, depending on the medical purpose they will be used for. All vehicles are equipped in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health.
