In January-October this year, Uzbekistan exported 714 trucks worth $11.5 million to eight foreign countries. This year, 37 fewer trucks were produced compared to the same period last year.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, most of the locally produced trucks were sold to neighboring Kazakhstan (505 units, or more than 70 percent). Other countries that are importers of trucks from Uzbekistan are: Kyrgyzstan (84), Singapore (71), Afghanistan (29) and other countries.

According to the data, 3257 trucks were produced in Uzbekistan in just 10 months of 2021. In other words, 1.5% less was produced this year compared to the same period last year.

During the January-October 2020 period, when the coronavirus pandemic peaked, 3,306 trucks were produced in the country. For the same period of 2019, this figure was 4,440 trucks.
