In Uzbekistan, 29 residential complexes will be built under the name Yangi Uzbekistan (New Uzbekistan) in areas close to city centers where housing demand is high. According to the Ministry of Justice, the President signed the relevant decree on December 9 this year.
According to the decree, 29 Yangi Uzbekistan settlement areas will be built in regions with high housing demand. 619 residences, 18 schools, 24 kindergartens and 15 health institutions will be built in these areas. 489 hectares of low-profit agricultural land will be allocated for the construction of Yangi Uzbekistan.
President Shevket Mirziyoyev spoke at the video conference on November 2 about the construction of New Uzbekistan complexes in all regions of Uzbekistan.
In addition, more than 250 thousand families were promised shelter by the President. It is also among the information received that 15 trillion sum (approximately 14 billion dollars) will be allocated for the construction of the New Uzbekistan settlement area next year.
