In Tashkent, the National Research Institute of Renewable Energy Sources has organized a Hydrogen Energy Research Center and a laboratory for testing and certification of renewable and hydrogen energy technologies, in which a number of thematic scientific studies are conducted.

With the technical support of the Chinese company Henan Suda, the institute has been allocated 20 electric vehicles, on the basis of which they will be held. This is due to the fact that electric vehicles are an integral part of the "green" economy, and, in particular, the development of "green" energy, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan said in a statement. Solar panels with a total capacity of 45 kW / h are also installed, on the basis of which electricity is generated, providing the organization with uninterrupted power supply.

As part of the project to create and develop high-speed chargers for electric vehicles using solar technology, work is underway in this direction. As a result, each such system installed in the country will generate 32 thousand kWh of electricity per year, which is designed to charge 950 electric vehicles, and in addition, save 11.2 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and prevent the release of 19.8 tons of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
