A delegation of Surkhandarya region signed contracts worth US$124 million during a visit to Hungary from 7 to 9 April 2024. The delegation from Uzbekistan held a number of events, meetings and negotiations in the capital of Hungary, Budapest.
During the visit, the regional khokim Ulugbek Kasymov got acquainted with the work of the poultry cluster of the Babolna Tetra and held meetings with representatives of the business community.
As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on the processing of grapes and the production of wine products, the supply of electronics and agricultural machinery, as well as equipment for the production of bags and furniture.
In total, during the three-day visit, 18 documents were signed totaling US$124.2 million, including 6 cooperation agreements, 9 investment agreements and 3 import agreements.
