At the Turkmenistan-USA business forum, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited US companies to take part in the construction of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI).
“The project, of course, has great prospects, opening up, in fact, a new direction of energy flows. It will provide fuel for such large, dynamically developing economies as the Indian and Pakistani ones. And in the future it will provide an opportunity to enter other growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region, ”said Berdymukhamedov.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that the TAPI project, which has already entered the stage of practical implementation, is open to interested companies to participate in it, and American partners can realistically assess the possibilities of their participation in it.
In addition to this, on April 23, after meeting with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had said that Tashkent was ready to take part in the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline. According to the President of Uzbekistan, the gas pipeline is a grand project, the construction of which will have a stabilizing effect on Afghanistan.
