Transport and logistics company "Bir Kuvvat" and LLC "Uzagrotrade" (Uzbekistan) signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of trade, transport and logistics. The signing ceremony took place following the results of the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan on October 4-5, 2021.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to develop and strengthen cooperation between the parties in the field of trade and logistics, as well as the creation of reliable logistics complexes for use on the territory of both states.
The sides agreed to provide mutual services, exchange information, participate in joint projects, strengthen Turkmen-Uzbek ties in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, improve work in the field of transport, logistics and trade.
This Memorandum is intended to strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in such areas as regional economic integration, macroeconomic policy, trade, customs regulation, investment policy and business support, transport and logistics, agriculture and other areas of mutual interest.
The companies also agreed to increase the volume of trade turnover and expand mutually beneficial partnerships between enterprises and companies, expand cooperation in the chemical, light and heavy industries, as well as to attract foreign direct investment and improve the investment climate.
The logistics company "Bir Kuvvat" provides a wide range of services for the organization of cargo delivery by all types of transport in Turkmenistan and to the countries of the near and far abroad. At the initiative of "Bir Kuvvat", a transport route was developed from the port of Turkmenbashi to the port of Aktau (Kazakhstan) and then by rail through the Khorgos border station (China) to major international ports of China.
Uzagrotrade is a company of Uzbekistan specializing in the cultivation and wholesale trade of vegetables and fruits, as well as the production of containers for storage and transportation of agricultural, chemical and light industry products.
