The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in January-March of this year increased 5.4 times ($38.92 million) to $211.88 million compared to the same period last year. This was reported on Friday by Trend agency with reference to statistical data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the statistics, Turkmenistan ranked 15th in trade turnover with Azerbaijan during the reporting period.
Turkmen exports to Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 190 million US dollars, which is 6.3 times higher than in the same period in 2022 (30.14 million US dollars). Turkmenistan's share in the total volume of Azerbaijani imports in the specified period amounted to 4.71 percent compared to 1.03 percent in the first three months of last year.
