The number of Turkish capital firms in Kazakhstan and their contribution to the country's economy is increasing.

Kabar.kg information obtained from the news site, Kazakhstan Ministry of national economy Statistics Agency data was given. According to the data, 1939 out of 3,453 Turkish capital firms registered as of December 1, 2019 were reported to be active.

The firms in question consisted of 1884 small, 33 medium and 22 large enterprises. 467 of the Turkish firms were reported to be operating in construction, 650 in retail and wholesale, 124 in accommodation and bulk meals, and 190 in manufacturing. 508 Turkish companies provide services in agriculture, mining, transportation, education, health, information and communication, insurance and real estate.

Kazakhstan's trade volume with Turkey increased by 54% in the first 10 months of 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, reaching $ 2.5 billion.
