According to the data issued by Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Turkey amounted to more than $1.86 billion from January to November last year, which is 9.7% more than last year.
In November alone, the mutual trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $235 million.
For 11 months of last year, Turkmenistan exported products worth more than 865.12 million US dollars to Turkey. During the same period, Turkmenistan imported Turkish goods worth more than $1 billion.
During this period, Turkey’s trade turnover with Central Asian countries increased by 30% compared to the same period of last year. The total volume of trade between Turkey and the five Central Asian countries amounted to $11.2 billion.
