TRADE TURNOVER OF TURKEY WITH CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES INCREASED BY 30% IN 2022

According to the Institute of Statistics of the Republic of Turkey, Turkey's trade turnover with Central Asian countries increased by 30% in January-November 2022.

The total volume of trade turnover with the Central Asian Five countries amounted to $11.2 billion. The bulk of this trade turnover fell on the three main partners of Turkey in Central Asia: Kazakhstan – $4.7 billion, Uzbekistan – $3.3 billion, Turkmenistan – $1.9 billion.

At the same time, the growth of trade between Turkmenistan and Turkey in 2022 increased by 22% compared to 2021.
