TURKEY WILL EXPORT ABOUT 40 BILLION CUBIC METERS OF GAS

Turkey may export about 40 billion cubic meters of gas through the hub being created on its territory.

According to the Report, this was stated by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Fatih Donmez. According to him, the gas hub on the territory of the country can work within a year.

"Now we have our own Black Sea gas. We are able to consume about 55-60 billion cubic meters of gas per year, we can supply 100 billion cubic meters of gas to the gas pipeline system within the hub, and if we plan well, we will export 40 billion cubic meters of gas," stressed F.Donmez.

The Minister added that Turkey should not be considered only as a transit country within the hub.

"Turkey will be the country where the international gas trade center will be located, and it is planned to create it within a year," he concluded.
