A business forum was held between Kazakhstan and Germany in Berlin, Germany.

According to the information dated 07.10.19 from Zakon.kz, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar headed the officials from Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the business forum, more than 200 company officials from two countries exchanged ideas. During the Forum, investment projects, trade and economy were discussed. In addition, the total cost of the project between the companies of Germany and Kazakhstan was estimated to be 700 million USD.

In 2018, the total trade volume between the two countries reached a record level of 5.1 billion euros. This represents 85% of Germany’s foreign trade volume with all Central Asian countries. In the last 14 years, Germany has invested 5 billion USD in Kazakhstan’s economy.
