According to the local media, Uzbekistan exported 10,000 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan in 2019.
In 2019, Kazakhstan imported light industry products worth 670,600,000 US dollars (about 62,000 tons) from abroad.
Almost half of this production (31 tons) comes from China. In other words, the Chinese have sold to Kazakhstan the clothing in the amount of 181,800,000 US dollars.
The second place was taken by the Russians, who delivered 10.5 thousand tons of clothing. They received $ 195 million for their products.
Although Uzbekistan is the third largest supplier, which supplies almost the same volume as Russia, its revenue is less than 10 times lower.
Light industry exporters to Kazakhstan include Turkey, Bangladesh, Belarus, and other countries.
