The flagship of machine building in Kazakhstan - Kostanay enterprise SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, despite the pandemic of coronavirus infection, operates in an enhanced mode, having established the production of domestic equipment in 2-3 shifts. Positive volumes of industry in Kazakhstan were reported by the Minister of industry and infrastructure development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, reports Kazpravda.kz.
It should be noted that SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP produced 9,694 units of equipment in the first quarter, which is 291% more than in the same period last year (2019 – 3,328 units). In the company’s plans to produce about 50,000 units of equipment in 2020, which is twice the same figure in 2019 (25,802 units).
High performance was made possible by the production of JAC, Hyundai, as well as a new line of domestic Chevrolet, which was launched at the Kostanay plant on March 28, 2020 with the participation of the head of the government of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin. Among the brand's cars, Chevrolet Damas and Labo had a high social effect. These models have earned attention in the field of courier services for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as in the issue of disinfection and sterilization of streets for public services in the regions of Kazakhstan.
In 2020, the company plans to produce about 26,000 Chevrolet units, half of which are intended for export.
